refineries. Process Engineering Process Engineering is the largest group at DESCON and includes doctoral level degreed Chemical Engineers. The majority of DESCON's staff are degreed Chemical Engineers with experience in hydrocarbon processing and refinery process engineering. |

| Gasification DESCON Engineering is at the forefront of the industry in cryogenic gas, high recovery NGL, gas-to-liquids (GTL) and compression processes. Utility & Offsite Systems DESCON's expertise in utility and offsite systems for grass roots and revamped facilities has generated cost savings for clients through enhanced pre-commissioning, modular pre-fabricated buildings and faster startup schedules. DESCON is a leading supplier of pre-fabricated buildings for control rooms, analyzer systems and electrical switchgear. Instrumentation and Controls DESCON's senior staff includes I&C engineers, each with over 10 years refining industry experience. They are experienced in engineering and project management for instrumentation, DCS and PLCs for refinery applications (for example, blending and distillation) and for projects up to $4 million. DESCON's staff is also experienced in telecommunications and emissions monitoring projects for refineries. DESCON can provide complete instrumentation & controls design, procurement, installation and commissioning. Design services provided include Controls Systems, Process Control Computer systems, and Software Design and Development.
